Jakarta KPU Announced Three Pairs to Compete in 2017 Pilkada

Jakarta KPU through plenary meeting on determination of pair of Jakarta Governor and Vice Governor candidates have announced three pairs who passed verification to enroll the 2017 Pilkada.

The three pairs have met requirement and will face the 2017 Pilkada as well as be bound by all regulations set by KPU

"The three pairs have met requirement and will face the 2017 Pilkada as well as be bound by all regulations set by KPU," said Head of Jakarta KPU, Sumarno, as quoted by KPUJakarta.go.id, Monday (10/24). 

Conflict-Prone Regions During 2017 Pilkada Mapped

Before being determined, those pairs have passed through a series of stages ranging from registration and administrative records submission (September 21-23), medical check-up at Mintohardjo RSAL (September 24) and Psychological tests (September 25), as well as document correction submission (October 1-4) in accordance with election requirements.

His party asks the candidates, campaign team and its supporters to attend in the draw of sequence number.

"All parties are hoped to attend on Tuesday (10/25), placed at JIE Kemayoran at 6 PM," he told.

Those three pairs are Basuki T Purnama-Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono-Sylviana Murni, and Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno.
